How to change rear Stabilizer bushes on VW SHARAN 7M TUTORIAL | AUTODOC

All the parts you need to replace – Anti Roll Bar Bushes for SHARAN (7M8, 7M9, 7M6) and other VW models
Alternative products

Wire brush
WD-40 spray
Copper grease
Drive socket # 13
Ratchet wrench
Torque wrench
Flat Screwdriver
Water pump pliers
Hydraulic transmission jack
Replacement: anti roll bar bushes – VW Sharan 1. Tip from AUTODOC:
- Both stabilizer bushes should be replaced simultaneously.
- The replacement procedure is identical for the right and left stabilizer bushes.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: anti roll bar bushes – VW Sharan 1. Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1
Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit. - Step 2
Clean the fasteners of the stabilizer bush brackets. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 3
Unscrew the fasteners of the stabilizer bush brackets. Use a drive socket #13. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 4
Remove the stabilizer bush brackets. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 5
Secure the rear axle beam. Use a hydraulic transmission jack. - Step 6
Remove the stabilizer bushes. Use a flat screwdriver. Use water pump pliers.
