How to change spark plug on TOYOTA AYGO 1 (AB10) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: spark plugs – Toyota Aygo AB1. AUTODOC recommends:
- The replacement procedure is the same for all spark plugs.
- Warning! Shut down the engine before starting any work – Toyota Aygo AB1.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1
Open the hood. - Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car. - Step 3
Remove the fastening clamps of the air filter breather pipe and the air filter inlet pipe. Use hose clamp pliers with retainer. - Step 4
Release the air filter cover clips. - Step 5
Take off the filter lid. - Step 6
Disconnect the air intake pipe from the air filter housing. - Step 7
Cover the throttle body with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the system. - Step 8
Unplug the connectors from the ignition coils. - Step 9
Treat the fastening bolts of the ignition coils. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 10
Unscrew the ignition coil bracket. Use a drive socket #10. - Step 11
Take out the ignition coil from the spark plug well.Replacement: spark plugs – Toyota Aygo AB1. Tip from AUTODOC experts:Remember the sequence of steps for ignition coil demounting. - Step 12
Clean dirt, dust and debris from inside the spark plug wells. - Step 13
Unscrew the spark plugs. Use the spark plug socket #16. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 14
Take out the spark plugs. Use a telescoping magnet. - Step 15
Apply a thin layer of a special high temperature anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the new spark plugs. Treat the surface of the terminals of the new spark plugs. Use high-temperature grease. - Step 16
Install the new spark plugs into their mounting seats. - Step 17
Screw new spark plugs and tighten them. Use the spark plug socket #16. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 25 nm torque.Replacement: spark plugs – Toyota Aygo AB1. Professionals recommend:Don't tighten the plugs with excessive force. Exceeding tightening torque can damage the thread connection. Be careful when working with a spark plug wrench. Its skewing can cause damage to the threaded connection.
