Replacement: headlights – Toyota Aygo AB1. AUTODOC experts recommend:
- The replacement procedure is identical for the right and left headlight.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: headlights – Toyota Aygo AB1. Take the following steps:
- Step 1Switch off the ignition.Step 2
Open the hood. - Step 3Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 4
Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit. - Step 5
Unscrew the lower fasteners of the bumper. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 6
Unscrew the side fasteners of the bumper. Use a Phillips screwdriver. - Step 7
Remove the bumper clips. Use a clip removal tool. - Step 8
Unscrew the upper fasteners of the bumper. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 9
Carefully release the bumper from the fasteners.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: headlights – Toyota Aygo AB1. Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it. - Step 10
Remove the bumper. - Step 11
Unscrew the headlight fasteners. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 12
Remove the headlight. - Step 13
Unplug the connectors of the headlight bulbs. - Step 14
Treat the connectors of the headlights. Use electronic spray. - Step 15
Plug in the connectors of the headlight bulbs. - Step 16
Install the new headlight.
