How to change ignition coil on VW LUPO 6x1 [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

All the parts you need to replace – Ignition Coil for Lupo (6X1, 6E1) and other VW models
Alternative products

Wire brush
WD-40 spray
Electronic spray
Torque wrench
Drive socket # 10
HEX bit No.H5
Ratchet wrench
Fender cover
Replacement: ignition coil – VW Lupo 6X1. AUTODOC experts recommend:
- The replacement procedure is the same for the ignition coils of all cylinders.
- Please note: all work on the car – VW Lupo 6X1 – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1
Open the bonnet. - Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car. - Step 3
Detach the connector from the ignition coil. - Step 4
Clean the ignition coil bolts. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 5
Unscrew the ignition coil bolts. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 6
Remove the ignition coil. - Step 7
Clean dirt, dust and debris from inside the spark plug wells. - Step 8
Install a new ignition coil.
