How to change ignition coil on VW GOLF 6 (5K1) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: ignition coil – VW Golf 6. AUTODOC experts recommend:
- The replacement procedure is the same for the ignition coils of all cylinders.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: ignition coil – VW Golf 6. Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1Open the hood.
- Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
- Step 3Remove the engine cover.
- Step 4Unplug the connectors from the ignition coils.
- Step 5Raise a little the wiring of the ignition coils and move it aside.
- Step 6Pry up the ignition coil. Use a crowbar.
- Step 7Take out the ignition coil from the spark plug well.
- Step 8Treat the ignition coil tip. Use high-temperature grease. Use a flat screwdriver.
- Step 9Install the new ignition coil to the spark plug well. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.
- Step 10Treat the ignition coil connector with electronic spray. The spray will protect the electrical contacts from corrosion, oxidation, and will reduce the contact resistance.Replacement: ignition coil – VW Golf 6. AUTODOC recommends:After applying the spray, wait a few minutes.
