Replace the stabiliser links on Nissan Micra K12 in pairs.
The replacement procedure is identical for both stabiliser links on the same axle.
All work should be done with the engine stopped.

Replacement: anti roll bar links – Nissan Micra K12. Take the following steps:

Step 1

Secure the wheels with chocks.

Step 2

Loosen the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17. Use a tap wrench.
Step 3

Raise the car.

Replacement: anti roll bar links – Nissan Micra K12. AUTODOC recommends:
If you are using a jack, make sure it rests on a flat surface without any unevenness.Be sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands.
Step 4

Unscrew the wheel bolts.

AUTODOC recommends:
To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the bolts.
Step 5

Remove the wheel.
Step 6

Clean the stabiliser link fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 7

Unscrew the fastener connecting the stabilizer link to the shock strut. Use a combination spanner #17. Use HEX No.H5. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 8

Unscrew the fastener connecting the stabilizer link to the stabilizer bar. Use a combination spanner #17. Use HEX No.H5. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 9

Remove the stabiliser link.
Step 10

Clean the mounting seats of the stabiliser link. Use a wire brush. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 11

Install a new stabiliser link and tighten the fasteners.
Step 12

Tighten the fastener connecting the stabilizer link to the shock strut. Use a drive socket #17. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 44 Nm torque.
Step 13

Tighten the fastener connecting the stabilizer link to the stabilizer bar. Use a drive socket #17. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 44 Nm torque.
Step 14

Clean the wheel rim mounting seat. Use a wire brush. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 15

Treat the surface where the brake disc contacts the wheel rim. Use ceramic grease.
Step 16

Install the wheel.

Replacement: anti roll bar links – Nissan Micra K12. Tip from AUTODOC experts:
To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when screwing in the fastening bolts.
Step 17

Screw in the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 18

Lower the car and working in a cross order, tighten the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 110 Nm torque.
Step 19

Remove the jacks and chocks.
