How to replace windscreen wiper arms [AUTODOC TUTORIAL]

- 2.The rear wiper arm tends to fail more quicklyReasons to replace the rear wiper arm:a cracked plastic partсorrosion damage to the bushing
- 3.Look at the design of the parts and the type of fastenersReasons for replacing the front wiper arms:a weakened spring that presses the arm against the glasscorrosion marks and other defectsinstallation of a new wiper linkage4.Unclip the protection cap and remove it
- 5.Clean the fasteners and unscrew them with a suitable toolImportant!Hold the arm firmly to avoid damaging the pivot shaft
- 6.On some vehicles, the pivot shaft has a built-in washer spray nozzle. Avoid damaging it when removing the arm
- 7.Remove the arm from the pivot shaft
- 8.If it’s difficult to remove, use a universal puller
- 9.Position the puller jaws between the base of the arm and its mount
- 10.Resting the tool against the pivot shaft, detach the armPlease note!Be careful not to damage the glass!
- 11.Lift the wiper arm away from the glass
