- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: serpentine belt – Nissan Micra K12. Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.Step 2Loosen the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17. Use a tap wrench.
- Step 3Raise the car.Replacement: serpentine belt – Nissan Micra K12. Tip:If you are using a jack, make sure it rests on a flat surface without any unevenness.Be sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands.
- Step 4Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Important! Hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Nissan Micra K12
- Step 5Remove the wheel.
- Step 6Remove the plastic clips of the wheel arch liner. Move the part aside. Use a clip removal tool.
- Step 7Loosen the tensioner pulley fastener. Use a combination spanner #14.
- Step 8Loosen the serpentine belt. Use a drive socket #12. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 9Remove the V-ribbed belt.
- Step 10Loosen the tensioner pulley fastener. Use a combination spanner #14.
- Step 11Loosen the serpentine belt. Use a drive socket #12. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 12Remove the V-ribbed belt.AUTODOC recommends:Check the condition of the tensioner pulley and idler pulley. Replace them if necessary.
- Step 13Install the V-ribbed belt.Replacement: serpentine belt – Nissan Micra K12. AUTODOC experts recommend:Make sure that the V-ribbed belt fits all pulleys snugly.
- Step 14Return the tensioner pulley to its initial position. Use a drive socket #12. Use a ratchet wrench.Replacement: serpentine belt – Nissan Micra K12. AUTODOC recommends:Make sure that the V-ribbed belt is properly tensioned.
- Step 15Tighten the fastener of the serpentine belt tensioner pulley. Use a combination spanner #14. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 25 Nm torque.
- Step 16Install the V-ribbed belt.AUTODOC recommends:Make sure that the V-ribbed belt fits all pulleys snugly.
- Step 17Return the tensioner pulley to its initial position. Use a drive socket #12. Use a ratchet wrench.Replacement: serpentine belt – Nissan Micra K12. Tip from AUTODOC experts:Make sure that the V-ribbed belt is properly tensioned.
