- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.Step 2
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #21. - Step 3
Raise the car.Replacement: serpentine belt – Nissan X Trail T30. Professionals recommend:If you are using a jack, make sure it rests on a flat surface without any unevenness.Be sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands. - Step 4
Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Nissan X Trail T30 - Step 5
Remove the wheel. - Step 6Unscrew and detach the engine side cover fasteners.Step 7Remove the engine cover.Step 8
Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. Use a combination spanner #14. - Step 9
Remove the V-ribbed belt.Replacement: serpentine belt – Nissan X Trail T30. AUTODOC experts recommend:Check the condition of the tensioner pulley and idler pulley. Replace them if necessary. - Step 10
Return the tensioner pulley to its initial position. - Step 11
Install the V-ribbed belt. - Step 12
Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. - Step 13
Place the V-ribbed belt on the tensioner pulley.
