Replacement: anti roll bar bushes – SEAT ALHAMBRA (7V8, 7V9). Tip from AUTODOC:
- Both stabilizer bushes should be replaced simultaneously.
- The replacement procedure is identical for the right and left stabilizer bushes.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: anti roll bar bushes – SEAT ALHAMBRA (7V8, 7V9). Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit.
- Step 2Clean the fasteners of the stabilizer bush brackets. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
- Step 3Unscrew the fasteners of the stabilizer bush brackets. Use a drive socket #13. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 4Remove the stabilizer bush brackets. Use a flat screwdriver.
- Step 5Secure the rear axle beam. Use a hydraulic transmission jack.
- Step 6Remove the stabilizer bushes. Use a flat screwdriver. Use water pump pliers.
