Replacement: pollen filter – Ford Transit Mk7 van. AUTODOC recommends:

Replace the cabin filter at least once every six months, once in early spring and once in autumn.
Follow the service intervals, recommendations, and requirements for using the part provided by the manufacturer.
If the air flow into the cabin has sharply decreased or you use the car in a high dust or pollen area, replace the filter earlier than specified.
All the work should be carried out with the ignition switched off.

Replacement: pollen filter – Ford Transit Mk7 van. Recommended sequence of steps:

Step 1

Open the bonnet.
Step 2

Use a fender protection cover to avoid damaging the paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
Step 3

Pull out the old cabin filter.
Step 4

Close off the air duct using a clean towel and clean the inside of the cabin filter housing. Use a microfibre towel.
Step 5

Remove the rubber strip.
Step 6

Install a new filter into the housing. Check the markings on the edge of the filter to make sure you are installing it the correct side up.

During installation, make sure to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the air filter housing.Make sure to only use quality filters.
Step 7

Install the rubber strip.
Step 8

Remove the fender cover.
Step 9

Close the bonnet.
