How to change spark plug on NISSAN MICRA K12 [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]
All the parts you need to replace – Spark Plug for MICRA III (K12) and other NISSAN models
Don't tighten the plugs with excessive force. Exceeding tightening torque can damage the thread connection. Be careful when working with a spark plug wrench. Its skewing can cause damage to the threaded connection.
Step 28
Install the ignition coils to the spark plug wells.
Step 29
Install the fastening bolts.
Step 30
Tighten the ignition coil fasteners. Use a drive socket #10. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 9 nm torque.
Step 31
Treat the connectors of the ignition coils with an electrical contact cleaner spray.
Replacement: spark plugs – Nissan Micra K12. Tip:
The compound will protect the contacts from corrosion and oxidation, and will lower the contact resistance.
Step 32
Plug in the connectors of the ignition coils.
Step 33
Install the lower engine cover.
Step 34
Install the fastening bolts.
Step 35
Screw in the fasteners of the lower engine cover. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 36
Remove the microfibre cloth from the engine intake channels.
Step 37
Install the upper engine cover.
Step 38
Install the fastening bolts.
Step 39
Screw in the fasteners of the upper engine cover. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 40
Attach the hoses to the engine cover and secure them with the clamps. Use long nose pliers.
Step 41
Treat the engine cover connectors. Use dielectric grease.
Step 42
Attach the connectors to the engine cover. Use a flat screwdriver.
Step 43
Insert the filter cartridge into the filter housing.
