How to change rear wheel bearing / rear hub bearing on TOYOTA PRIUS 2 (NHW20) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: wheel bearing – Toyota Prius 2. AUTODOC recommends:
- Do not re-use the bearing assembly of your Toyota Prius 2 car.
- The wheel hub bearing replacement procedure is identical for both wheels on the same axle.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: wheel bearing – Toyota Prius 2. Take the following steps:
- Step 1
Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 2
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #21. - Step 3
Raise the rear of the car and secure on supports. - Step 4
Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Toyota Prius 2 - Step 5
Remove the wheel. - Step 6
Clean the brake drum. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 7
Remove the brake drum.Replacement: wheel bearing – Toyota Prius 2. AUTODOC experts recommend:Examine the brake drum. Replace it if necessary. - Step 8
Clean the wheel hub fastener. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 9
Detach the ABS sensor connector. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 10
Disconnect the ABS sensor wiring. - Step 11
Unscrew the hub bearing mounting. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench. Use a tap wrench. - Step 12
Remove the hub and the bearing together, since they are a sealed unit. - Step 13
Clean the hub bearing mounting seat. Use a wire brush. - Step 14
Install the new wheel hub with a bearing.
