How to change rear springs on SUZUKI SWIFT 3 [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: coil springs – Suzuki Swift MK3. AUTODOC experts recommend:
- Both coil springs of the rear suspension should be replaced simultaneously.
- The replacement procedure is identical for the left and right coil springs of the rear suspension.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: coil springs – Suzuki Swift MK3. Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.
- Step 2Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #21.
- Step 3Raise the rear of the car and secure on supports.Step 4Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Important! Hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Suzuki Swift MK3
- Step 5Remove the wheel.
- Step 6Support the stub axle. Use a hydraulic transmission jack.
- Step 7Clean the shock absorber fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.Step 8Unscrew the lower fastener of the shock absorber. Use a drive socket #17. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 9Detach the lower part of the shock absorber. Use a flat screwdriver.
- Step 10Remove the support from under the stub axle.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: coil springs – Suzuki Swift MK3. Lower the transmission jack smoothly, without jerks, to avoid damaging components and mechanisms.
- Step 11Pull down the suspension control arm. Use a crowbar.
- Step 12Take out the spring.
- Step 13Clean the coil spring mounting seats. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.Step 14Pull down the suspension control arm. Use a crowbar.
- Step 15Install the spring.
