- Replace the brake disks on the car Renault Scenic 2 in complete set for each axis. Regardless of the state of components. This will ensure even braking.

Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 3
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19. - Step 4
Raise the rear of the car and secure on supports. - Step 5
Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Important! Hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Renault Scenic 2 - Step 6
Remove the wheel. - Step 7
Clean the brake caliper fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use a brake cleaner.Replacement: brake discs – Renault Scenic 2. AUTODOC experts recommend:After applying the spray, wait a few minutes. - Step 8
Unscrew the brake caliper fastening. Use a combination spanner #15. Use a drive socket #13. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 9Spread the brake pads. Use a crowbar.Step 10
Remove the brake caliper. Use a crowbar.Replacement: brake discs – Renault Scenic 2. Professionals recommend:Tie the caliper to the suspension or to the body with a wire without disconnecting from the brake hose to prevent depressurization of the brake system.Make sure that the brake caliper is not hanging on the brake hose.Don't press the brake pedal after the brake caliper has been removed. As a result, the piston can fall out from the brake cylinder, and brake fluid leakage and depressurization of the system may occur. - Step 11
Treat the brake caliper piston. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 12
Remove the brake pads. Use a crowbar. - Step 13
Clean the brake caliper bracket fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 14
Unscrew the caliper bracket fastening. Use a drive socket #E16. Use a tap wrench. - Step 15
Remove the caliper bracket. - Step 16
Clean the brake disk surface. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 17
Pry up and remove the wheel hub cap. Use a crowbar. Use a hammer.Replacement: brake discs – Renault Scenic 2. Tip from AUTODOC:Some cars are not equipped with wheel hub caps. - Step 18
Unscrew the wheel hub axle nut. Use a drive socket #30. Use a tap wrench. - Step 19
Remove the brake disc assemled with the wheel hub bearing. - Step 20
Clean the guiding part of the stub axle. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 21
Install the brake disc assembled with the wheel hub bearing. - Step 22
Tighten the hub. Use a drive socket #30. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 220 Nm torque.Replacement: brake discs – Renault Scenic 2. Tip:The wheel bearing unit must not tilt on the axle pin.
