How to change serpentine belt / v-ribbed belt on RENAULT SCENIC 2 (JM) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: serpentine belt – Renault Scenic 2. AUTODOC recommends:
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: serpentine belt – Renault Scenic 2. Take the following steps:
- Step 1
Open the bonnet. - Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car. - Step 3
Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 4
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19. - Step 5
Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit. - Step 6
Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Important! Hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Renault Scenic 2 - Step 7
Remove the wheel. - Step 8
Unscrew and remove the wheel arch cover fasteners. Use ear clamp pliers. Use Torx T25. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 9
Remove the wheel arch cover. - Step 10
Unscrew the fasteners connecting the bumper reinforcement bar to the subframe. Use a drive socket #13. - Step 11
Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. Use a drive socket #16. Use a tap wrench. - Step 12
Remove the V-ribbed belt. - Step 13Return the tensioner pulley to its initial position.Replacement: serpentine belt – Renault Scenic 2. AUTODOC experts recommend:Check the condition of the tensioner pulley and idler pulley. Replace them if necessary.Step 14
Install the V-ribbed belt.Replacement: serpentine belt – Renault Scenic 2. Tip from AUTODOC:Make sure that the V-ribbed belt fits all pulleys snugly. - Step 15
Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. Use a drive socket #16. Use a tap wrench.
