How to change rear anti roll bar link on TOYOTA LAND CRUISER PRADO 3 (J120) [AUTODOC]

AUTODOC recommends:
- Replace the stabiliser links on Toyota Prado J120 in pairs.
- The replacement procedure is identical for both stabiliser links on the same axle.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: anti roll bar links – Toyota Prado J120. Take the following steps:
- Step 1
Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 2
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #21. - Step 3
Raise the rear of the car and secure on supports. - Step 4
Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Important! Hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Toyota Prado J120 - Step 5
Remove the wheel. - Step 6
Clean the stabiliser link fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 7
Support the rear suspension beam. Use a hydraulic transmission jack. - Step 8
Unscrew the fasteners connecting the stabilizer link to the rear suspension beam. Use a combination spanner #12. Use a combination spanner #14. - Step 9
Unscrew the fasteners connecting the stabiliser link to the stabiliser bar. Use a combination spanner #17. Use HEX No.H6. - Step 10
Remove the stabilizer rod. - Step 11
Detach the stabilizer link from the rear suspension beam.Replacement: anti roll bar links – Toyota Prado J120. Tip:Examine stabiliser bushes. Replace them if needed. - Step 12
Treat all joints of the stabiliser link. Use copper grease. - Step 13
Install a new rod, tighten the fasteners.
