How to change intake pipe on FORD FOCUS MK2 Saloon [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

All the parts you need to replace – Intake Pipe, air filter for Focus II Saloon (DB_, FCH, DH) and other FORD models

All-purpose cleaning spray
Drive socket # 7
Ratchet wrench
Fender cover
Replacement: intake pipe – Ford Focus MK2. AUTODOC recommends:
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: intake pipe – Ford Focus MK2. Take the following steps:
- Step 1
Open the bonnet. - Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car. - Step 3
Remove the engine cover.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: intake pipe – Ford Focus MK2. Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it. - Step 4
Clean the air hose fastener. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 5
Loosen the binding clamps attaching the air duct to the air filter housing and to the charger. Use a drive socket #7. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 6
On the right side, detach the PCV valve hose from the engine cover. - Step 7
Remove the air intake hose. - Step 8
Clean the mounting seat of the air intake hose.
