Make sure that the fuel filter is positioned correctly. Consider the fuel flow direction mark.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.Attention! Use quality components. HYUNDAI i30 CW (GD)
Step 13
Screw in the fuel filter mounting bracket. Use the 76-14 F socket. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 14
Install the new fuel filter together with its bracket.
Step 15
Screw in the water-in-fuel sensor.
Step 16
Screw the fixing bolts of the fuel filter bracket. Use a combination spanner #19.
Step 17
Clean the fuel filter. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 18
Connect the fuel lines to the fuel filter and lock the fastening clips.
Before starting off, switch the ignition on and off several times. This should be done to activate the fuel pump to make it pump fuel through the fuel system.
Step 22
Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.
Step 23
Shut off the engine.
