Replacement: fuel filter – FIAT STRADA Pickup (178E). Tools you need:

                      Electronic spray
                    
                      Fluid container
                    
                      Fender cover

Carry out replacement in the following order:

Step 1

Open the bonnet.

Step 2

Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.

Step 3

Detach the fuel pressure sensor connector.
Step 4

Unscrew the fuel filter cover.
Step 5

Prepare a container for fluids.
Step 6

Unscrew the filter housing cap together with the old filter element. Put the old filter cartridge in the container.
Step 7

Remove the rubber strip.

Step 8

Take the fuel filter out of the bracket.
Step 9

Fasten the fuel filter in the holder.
Step 10

Install the rubber strip.
Step 11

Install a new fuel filter.

Replacement: fuel filter – FIAT STRADA Pickup (178E). AUTODOC recommends:
Make sure that the fuel filter is positioned correctly. Consider the fuel flow direction mark.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.Attention! Use quality filters – FIAT STRADA Pickup (178E).
Step 12

Install and tighten the cap of the fuel filter housing.
Step 13

Clean the connector of the fuel pressure sensor. Use electronic spray.
Step 14

Attach the fuel pressure sensor connector.

AUTODOC recommends:
Before starting off, switch the ignition on and off several times. This should be done to activate the fuel pump to make it pump fuel through the fuel system.
Step 15

Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.

Step 16

Shut off the engine.

Step 17

Remove the fender protection cover.

Step 18

Close the hood.

To protect the environment from pollution, be sure to dispose of the used filters at special collection points.
