- Step 1Open the bonnet.
- Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
- Step 3Clean the fasteners of the fuel supply lines. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
- Step 4Squeeze the clips and detach the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter housing. Use fuel line pliers.Replacement: fuel filter – Fiat Bravo 2. Tip from AUTODOC:Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses.
- Step 5Loosen the fuel filter mounting. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 6Remove the fuel filter.
- Step 7Detach the fuel pressure sensor connector.
- Step 8Attach the fuel pressure sensor connector.
- Step 9Install a new fuel filter.
- Step 10Tighten the fuel filter fasteners. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.Replacement: fuel filter – Fiat Bravo 2. Professionals recommend:Make sure that the fuel filter is positioned correctly. Consider the fuel flow direction mark.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.Attention! Use quality filters – Fiat Bravo 2.
- Step 11Connect the fuel lines to the fuel filter and lock the fastening clips.
