Replacement: fuel filter – FIAT DOBLO Platform/Chassis (263). Recommended sequence of steps:

Step 1

Open the bonnet.

Step 2

Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.

Step 3

Clean the fasteners of the fuel supply lines. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 4

Squeeze the clips and detach the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter housing. Use fuel line pliers.

Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses.
Step 5

Loosen the fuel filter mounting. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 6

Remove the fuel filter.
Step 7

Detach the fuel pressure sensor connector.
Step 8

Attach the fuel pressure sensor connector.
Step 9

Install a new fuel filter.
Step 10

Tighten the fuel filter fasteners. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.

Make sure that the fuel filter is positioned correctly. Consider the fuel flow direction mark.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.Attention! Use quality filters – FIAT DOBLO Platform/Chassis (263).
Step 11

Connect the fuel lines to the fuel filter and lock the fastening clips.
Step 12

Connect the bleeder kit to the fuel filter bleeder screw.
Step 13

Unscrew the fuel filter bleeder screw. Use a combination spanner #12.
Step 14

Switch on the ignition. This should be done to activate the fuel pump to make it pump fuel through the fuel system.
Step 15

Remove the bleeder kit.
Step 16

Screw in the fuel filter bleeder screw. Use a drive socket #12. Use a ratchet wrench.

Step 17

Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.

Step 18

Shut off the engine.

Step 19

Remove the fender protection cover.

Step 20

Close the hood.

Replacement: fuel filter – FIAT DOBLO Platform/Chassis (263). Tip:
To protect the environment from pollution, be sure to dispose of the used filters at special collection points.
