How to change front anti roll bar link on PEUGEOT 407 Saloon [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.
- Step 2Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19.
- Step 3Raise the front of the car and secure on supports.Step 4Unscrew the wheel bolts.Replacement: anti roll bar links – Peugeot 407 saloon. Tip:To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the bolts.
- Step 5Remove the wheel.
- Step 6Clean the stabiliser link fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.Step 7Unscrew the fastener connecting the stabilizer link to the stabilizer bar. Use a combination spanner #18. Use HEX No.H6. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 8Unscrew the fastener connecting the stabilizer bar with the control arm. Use a combination spanner #24. Use Torx T40. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 9Remove the fastening nut.Step 10Remove the stabilizer rod. Use a pin punch. Use a hammer.
- Step 11Clean the mounting seats of the stabiliser link. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.Step 12Install a new rod, tighten the fasteners. Use a crowbar.
- Step 13Tighten the fastener connecting the stabilizer link to the stabilizer bar. Use a combination spanner #18. Use HEX No.H6. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 85 Nm torque.
