- All the work should be carried out with the ignition switched off.
Replacement: battery – FORD GT. Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1Open the driver's door.Step 2
Slide the driver's seat all the way forward and fold it. - Step 3
Remove the cover from the battery compartment. - Step 4
Unscrew the negative battery terminal fastener. Use a 10 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 5
Remove the negative terminal from the battery. - Step 6
Unscrew the positive battery terminal fastener. Use a 10 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 7
Remove the positive terminal from the battery. - Step 8
Remove the battery. - Step 9
Clean the battery terminals. Use a battery terminal brush. - Step 10
Install a new battery.
