Step 1

Open the bonnet.

Step 2

Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
Step 3

Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit.
Step 4

Undo the fasteners of the oil pan lower cover. Use Torx T27.
Step 5

Remove the oil pan cover.
Step 6

Pry up the hydraulic power steering belt. Use a crowbar.
Step 7

Turn the crankshaft pulley. Use a drive socket #18. Use a tap wrench.
Step 8

Remove the hydraulic power steering belt.
Step 9

Pry up the poly-V belt. Use a crowbar.
Step 10

Turn the crankshaft pulley. Use a crowbar. Use a drive socket #18. Use a tap wrench.
Step 11

Remove the V-ribbed belt.
Step 12

Install the V-ribbed belt. Use a crowbar. Use a drive socket #18. Use a tap wrench.

Replacement: serpentine belt – Ford Fiesta V JH JD. Tip:
Make sure that the V-ribbed belt fits all pulleys snugly.
Step 13

Turn the crankshaft pulley. Use a crowbar. Use a drive socket #18. Use a tap wrench.

Replacement: serpentine belt – Ford Fiesta V JH JD. AUTODOC recommends:
Proceed with caution! Don't damage the poly-V belt.
Step 14

Install the hydraulic power steering belt. Use a crowbar. Use a drive socket #18. Use a tap wrench.
Step 15

Turn the crankshaft pulley. Use a crowbar. Use a drive socket #18. Use a tap wrench.
Step 16

Reinstall the oil pan lower cover.
Step 17

Tighten the fasteners of the oil pan lower cover. Use Torx T27.
Step 18

Lower the car.

Step 19

Remove the fender protection cover.

Step 20

Close the hood.
