How to change air filter on TOYOTA RAV4 II [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]
Air filter
- Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
- Please note: all work on the car – Toyota RAV4 II – should be done with the engine switched off.
- Step 1
Open the hood.
- Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
- Step 3
Release the air filter cover clips.
- Step 4
Take off the filter lid.
AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: air filter – Toyota RAV4 II. Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it.
- Step 5
Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
- Step 6
Cover the air intake hose with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the system.
- Step 7
Clean the air filter cover and housing.
