- Replacement: air filter – RENAULT TWINGO I Box (S06_). Follow the maintenance schedule, recommendations, and requirements specified by the manufacturer.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: air filter – RENAULT TWINGO I Box (S06_). Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3
Disconnect the breather hose. - Step 4
Unscrew the clamp fastening the engine air filter housing to the throttle body. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 5
Remove the air filter housing. - Step 6
Disconnect the air intake pipe from the air filter housing. - Step 7
Undo the fastening screws of the air filter cover. Use Torx T25. - Step 8
Take off the filter lid. - Step 9
Remove the filter element from the filter housing. - Step 10
Clean the air filter cover and housing.Replacement: air filter – RENAULT TWINGO I Box (S06_). Tip:Before cleaning the air filter cover and housing, cover the air duct parts, mass airflow sensor (if available), throttle valve with a clean cloth. - Step 11
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.Replacement: air filter – RENAULT TWINGO I Box (S06_). AUTODOC recommends:Check out the correct location of the filter element. Do not skew.Attention! Use quality filters – RENAULT TWINGO I Box (S06_).During installation, make sure to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the air filter housing.
