How to change air filter on RENAULT KANGOO 1 (KC) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]
All the parts you need to replace – Air Filter for KANGOO (KC0/1_) and other RENAULT models
Replacement: air filter – Renault Kangoo KC01. Follow the maintenance schedule, recommendations, and requirements specified by the manufacturer.
All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: air filter – Renault Kangoo KC01. Recommended sequence of steps:
Step 1
Open the bonnet.
Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
Step 3
Disconnect the breather hose.
Step 4
Unscrew the clamp fastening the engine air filter housing to the throttle body. Use a flat screwdriver.
Step 5
Remove the air filter housing.
Step 6
Disconnect the air intake pipe from the air filter housing.
Step 7
Undo the fastening screws of the air filter cover. Use Torx T25.
Step 8
Take off the filter lid.
Step 9
Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
Step 10
Clean the air filter cover and housing.
Replacement: air filter – Renault Kangoo KC01. Tip:
Before cleaning the air filter cover and housing, cover the air duct parts, mass airflow sensor (if available), throttle valve with a clean cloth.
Step 11
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.
Replacement: air filter – Renault Kangoo KC01. AUTODOC recommends:
Check out the correct location of the filter element. Do not skew.Attention! Use quality filters – Renault Kangoo KC01.During installation, make sure to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the air filter housing.
Step 12
Reinstall the air filter cover. Fasten it.
Step 13
Screw in the fastening screws of the air filter cover. Use Torx T25.
Step 14
Reinstall the air filter housing.
Step 15
Connect the air intake pipe to the air filter housing.
Step 16
Tighten the clamp fastening the engine air filter housing to the throttle body. Use a flat screwdriver.
Step 17
Connect the breather hose.
Step 18
Remove the fender protection cover.
Step 19
Close the hood.
