How to change air filter on RENAULT SCENIC 2 (JM) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: air filter – Renault Scenic 2. AUTODOC recommends:
- Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
- Please note: all work on the car – Renault Scenic 2 – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.
- Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Unscrew the fastener of the wiper cowl grille located on the left side. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 4Remove the rubber strip.
- Step 5Remove the wiper cowl grille located on the left side.
- Step 6Unscrew fixing bolts of the protective cover. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 7Remove the protective cover.
- Step 8Unscrew the filter housing fastening bolts. Use a Phillips screwdriver.
- Step 9Raise a little the top protective cover. Remove the air filter housing.
- Step 10Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
- Step 11Clean the air filter cover and housing.Replacement: air filter – Renault Scenic 2. Tip:Before cleaning the air filter cover and housing, cover the air duct parts, mass airflow sensor (if available), throttle valve with a clean cloth.
- Step 12Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.Replacement: air filter – Renault Scenic 2. Tip from AUTODOC:Check out the correct location of the filter element. Do not skew.Renault Scenic 2 – It's important to only use high-quality filters.During installation, make sure to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the air filter housing.
- Step 13Raise a little the top protective cover.
