Replacement: air filter – RENAULT SCÉNIC III (JZ0/1_). AUTODOC recommends:

- Please note: all work on the car – RENAULT SCÉNIC III (JZ0/1_) – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3
Unscrew the fastener of the wiper cowl grille located on the left side. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 4
Remove the rubber strip. - Step 5
Remove the wiper cowl grille located on the left side. - Step 6
Unscrew fixing bolts of the protective cover. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 7
Remove the protective cover. - Step 8
Unscrew the filter housing fastening bolts. Use a Phillips screwdriver. - Step 9
Raise a little the top protective cover. Remove the air filter housing. - Step 10
Remove the filter element from the filter housing. - Step 11
Clean the air filter cover and housing.Replacement: air filter – RENAULT SCÉNIC III (JZ0/1_). Tip:Before cleaning the air filter cover and housing, cover the air duct parts, mass airflow sensor (if available), throttle valve with a clean cloth. - Step 12
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.Replacement: air filter – RENAULT SCÉNIC III (JZ0/1_). Tip from AUTODOC:Check out the correct location of the filter element. Do not skew.RENAULT SCÉNIC III (JZ0/1_) – It's important to only use high-quality filters.During installation, make sure to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the air filter housing. - Step 13
Raise a little the top protective cover.
