How to change fuel filter RENAULT SCENIC 2 (JM) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: fuel filter – Renault Scenic 2. Tip:
- Ensure adequate ventilation of the workplace. Fuel vapors are poisonous.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: fuel filter – Renault Scenic 2. Use the following procedure:
- Step 1
Open the bonnet. - Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car. - Step 3
Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 4
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19. - Step 5
Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit. - Step 6
Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Renault Scenic 2 - Step 7
Remove the wheel. - Step 8
Unscrew and remove the wheel arch cover fasteners. Use ear clamp pliers. Use Torx T25. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 9
Remove the wheel arch cover. - Step 10
Remove the fuel filter. Use a crowbar. - Step 11
Unscrew the fuel filter bracket fixing bolts. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 12
Remove the fuel filter fastening bracket. - Step 13
Prepare a container for fluids. - Step 14
Unscrew the fasteners of the fuel filter cover. Use Torx T30. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 15
Demount the fuel filter housing assembled with an old filter cartridge. Put the old filter cartridge in the container. - Step 16
Remove the rubber strip. - Step 17
Take the fuel filter out of the bracket. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 18
Fasten the fuel filter in the holder. - Step 19
Install the rubber strip.Replacement: fuel filter – Renault Scenic 2. Tip from AUTODOC:Make sure that the fuel filter is positioned correctly. Consider the fuel flow direction mark.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.Attention! Use quality filters – Renault Scenic 2. - Step 20
Clean the fuel filter housing and the cover. - Step 21
Install the fuel filter housing assembled with a new filter cartridge.
