Replacement: engine mounts – FORD TRANSIT TOURNEO. List of the tools you'll need:

                        Wire brush
                      
                        WD-40 spray
                      
                        All-purpose cleaning spray
                      
                        Torque wrench
                      
                        13 mm socket
                      
                        18 mm socket
                      
                        Ratchet wrench
                      
                        Power wrench
                      
                        Vehicle jack
                      
                        Wide wooden block
                      
                        Fender cover

Replacement: engine mounts – FORD TRANSIT TOURNEO. AUTODOC experts recommend:

All the work should be carried out with the ignition switched off.

Replacement: engine mounts – FORD TRANSIT TOURNEO. Recommended sequence of steps:

Step 1

Open the bonnet.

Step 2

Use a fender protection cover to avoid damaging the paintwork and plastic parts of the car.

Step 3

Clean the engine mount fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 4

Unscrew the lower fasteners of the engine mount. Use a 13 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 5

Remove the fastening bolts.
Step 6

Support the engine in the area of the oil pan. Use a jack.

Warning!
Place a wide wooden block between the jack and engine to prevent the oil pan from being damaged.
Step 7

Unscrew the upper fasteners of the engine mount. Use an 18 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 8

Remove the engine mount.
Step 9

Clean the mounting seats of the engine mount. Use a wire brush. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 10

Install a new engine mount.
Step 11

Install the fastening nuts and bolts.
Step 12

Tighten the upper fasteners of the engine mount. Use an 18 mm socket. Use a torque wrench. Tightening torque: 115 N·m.
Step 13

Remove the jack from under the engine.

Replacement: engine mounts – FORD TRANSIT TOURNEO. Tip:
Lower the jack smoothly without jerking it to avoid damaging the vehicle assemblies and mechanisms.
Step 14

Tighten the lower fasteners of the engine mount. Use a 13 mm socket. Use a torque wrench. Tightening torque: 70 N·m.

Step 15

Remove the fender cover.

Step 16

Close the bonnet.
