All the parts you need to replace – Pollen Filter for TT Coupe (8N3) and other AUDI models
Replacement: pollen filter – AUDI TT (8N3). AUTODOC experts recommend:
Replace the cabin filter at least once every six months, in early spring and autumn seasons.
Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
If the air flow into the cabin has sharply reduced, replace the filter before a scheduled maintenance.
Please note: all work on the car – AUDI TT (8N3) – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
Step 1
Open the hood.
Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
Step 3
Remove the upper seal from the firewall.
Step 4
Raise the waterproof insulation.
Step 5
Disconnect the wiring harness from the engine bulkhead and take the wiring out.
Step 6
Remove the cabin filter.
Step 7
Remove the cabin air filter housing.
Step 8
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: pollen filter – AUDI TT (8N3). Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.
Step 9
Clean the cabin filter housing and cover.
Replacement: pollen filter – AUDI TT (8N3). Tip from AUTODOC experts:
Remove any debris from the cabin filter housing carefully to prevent contamination of the ventilation duct.Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter - it will affect the quality of air cleaning inside the car.
Step 10
Install the cabin filter to its mounting seat.

Step 11
Connect the wiring harness to the bulkhead and fasten it.
Step 12
Lower the waterproof insulation.
Step 13
Install the upper seal on the firewall.
Step 14
Remove the fender protection cover.
Step 15
Close the hood.
