Replacement: fuel filter – AUDI TT (8N3). Use the following procedure:

Step 1

Open the fuel door. Unscrew the fuel filler cap.
Step 2

Lift the car and set it on jack stands.

Step 3

Prepare a container for fluids.
Step 4

Unscrew the fastener of the fuel filter holder. Use a drive socket #10.
Step 5

Squeeze the clips and detach the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter housing. Use a flat screwdriver.

Replacement: fuel filter – AUDI TT (8N3). Tip:
Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses.
Step 6

Remove the fuel filter. Put the old filter cartridge in the container.
Step 7

Install a new fuel filter.

Remember, it is important not to mix up the input and output of the filter. Arrows on the filter indicate the direction of fuel flow.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.AUDI TT (8N3) – It's important to only use high-quality filters.
Step 8

Connect the fuel lines to the fuel filter and lock the fastening clips.
Step 9

Tighten the fuel filter fasteners. Use a drive socket #10.
Step 10

Take the fluid container away from under the fuel filter.

Step 11

Lower the car.

Step 12

Tighten the fuel filler cap. Close the fuel door.

Replacement: fuel filter – AUDI TT (8N3). Professionals recommend:
Before starting off, switch the ignition on and off several times. This should be done to activate the fuel pump to make it pump fuel through the fuel system.
Step 13

Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.
