Carry out replacement in the following order:
Step 1
Move the passenger seat fully backwards.
Step 2
Unscrew the fasteners of the bottom trim panel.
Step 3
Bend the bottom trim upwards.
Step 4
Remove the cabin filter housing cover.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: pollen filter – AUDI TT (8J3). Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it.
Step 5
Remove the cabin filter.
Replacement: pollen filter – AUDI TT (8J3). Tip from AUTODOC experts:
Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter - it will affect the quality of air cleaning inside the car.
Step 6
Install the cabin filter to its mounting seat.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: pollen filter – AUDI TT (8J3). Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.Follow the air flow direction arrow on the filter.Attention! Use quality filters – AUDI TT (8J3).
Step 7
Reinstall the cabin filter housing cover. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.

Step 8
Install the glove box bottom cover.
Step 9
Screw in the fasteners of the bottom trim panel.
Step 10
Return the passenger seat to its initial position.
Step 11
Switch on the ignition.
Step 12
Switch on the air conditioning system. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.
Step 13
Switch off the ignition.
