Replacement: fuel filter – AUDI A8 (4E_). AUTODOC experts recommend:
- Ensure adequate ventilation of the workplace. Fuel vapors are poisonous.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: fuel filter – AUDI A8 (4E_). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1
Open the fuel door. Unscrew the fuel filler cap. - Step 2Lift the car and set it on jack stands.Step 3
Prepare a container for fluids. - Step 4
Unscrew the fastener of the fuel filter holder. Use a drive socket #10. - Step 5
Squeeze the clips and detach the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter housing. Use a flat screwdriver.Replacement: fuel filter – AUDI A8 (4E_). Tip:Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses. - Step 6
Remove the fuel filter. Put the old filter cartridge in the container. - Step 7
Install a new fuel filter.Replacement: fuel filter – AUDI A8 (4E_). Tip from AUTODOC:Remember, it is important not to mix up the input and output of the filter. Arrows on the filter indicate the direction of fuel flow.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.AUDI A8 (4E_) – It's important to only use high-quality filters.
