If you are using a jack, make sure it rests on a flat surface without any unevenness.Be sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands.

Unscrew the wheel bolts.
AUTODOC recommends:
Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Mercedes W201

Remove the wheel.
Step 8
Disconnect the wiring from the strut.
Step 9
Clean the brake caliper bracket fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 10
Spread the brake pads. Use a crowbar.
Step 11
Unscrew the brake caliper bracket fasteners. Use a drive socket #19. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 12
Remove the fastening bolts.
Step 13
Remove the brake caliper together with its bracket.
AUTODOC recommends:
Tie the caliper to the suspension or to the body with a wire without disconnecting from the brake hose to prevent depressurization of the brake system.Make sure that the brake caliper is not hanging on the brake hose.Don't press the brake pedal after the brake caliper has been removed. As a result, the piston can fall out from the brake cylinder, and brake fluid leakage and depressurization of the system may occur.
Step 14
Clean the brake disc fastener. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 15
Unscrew the brake disc fasteners. Use HEX No.H5. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 16
Remove the fastening bolt.
Step 17
Remove the brake disc.
Step 18
Remove the hub bearing cap. Use a crowbar. Use a hammer.
Step 19
Remove the contact spring.
Step 20
Loosen the wheel hub fastening nut screw. Use HEX No.H5. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 21
Unscrew the hub nut.
Step 22
Remove the wheel hub together with the bearing. Use a universal puller.
Step 23
Clean the wheel stub axle. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 24
Remove the inner oil seal of the wheel bearing. Use a crowbar.
Step 25
Remove elements of the bearings from the wheel hub.
Step 26
Dismantle the outer bearing races. Use a bush and bearing driver set. Use a universal puller.
Step 27
Clean the mounting seats of the wheel bearings. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 28
Install the outer rings of the new wheel bearings. Use a bush and bearing driver set.
Step 29
Treat the wheel bearings. Use bearing grease.
Step 30
Reinstall the elements of the bearings in the wheel hub.
Step 31
Press in the inner oil seal of the wheel bearing. Use a bush and bearing driver set.
Step 32
Reinstall the hub together with the new bearings.
Step 33
Screw on the hub nut.
Step 34
Treat the contacting surface. Use ceramic grease.
Step 35
Install the brake disc.
Step 36
Install the fastening bolt.
Step 37
Tighten the brake disc fasteners. Use HEX No.H5. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 10 Nm torque.
Step 38
Install the brake caliper together with its bracket.
Step 39
Install the fastening bolts.
Step 40
Tighten the brake caliper bracket fasteners. Use a drive socket #19. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 115 Nm torque.
Step 41
Secure the wiring to the strut.
Step 42
Install the wheel.
Replacement: wheel bearing – Mercedes W201. Tip:
To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when screwing in the fastening bolts.
Step 43
Screw in the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 44
Spin the wheel to distribute the new grease evenly on the wheel bearings.
Step 45
Adjust the axial clearance by tightening the adjusting nut. Use a combination spanner #22.

Unscrew the wheel bolts.
Replacement: wheel bearing – Mercedes W201. Tip from AUTODOC:
To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the bolts.

Remove the wheel.
Step 48
Tighten the screw of the wheel hub fastening nut. Use HEX No.H5. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 12 Nm torque.
Step 49
Install the contact spring.
Step 50
Install the hub bearing cap. Use a bush and bearing driver set. Use a hammer.
Step 51
Clean the wheel rim mounting seat. Use a wire brush. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 52
Treat the surface where the brake disc contacts the wheel rim. Use ceramic grease.
Step 53
Install the wheel.

Screw in the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 55
Lower the car and working in a cross order, tighten the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 110 Nm torque.
Without starting the engine, press the brake pedal several times until you feel significant resistance.Check the brake fluid level in the expansion tank and top up if necessary.
Step 57
Tighten the brake fluid reservoir cap.
Step 58
Close the bonnet.
