Replacement: front lower arm – PEUGEOT PARTNER Platform/Chassis. Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1
Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 2
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19. - Step 3Raise the front of the car and secure on supports.Step 4
Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Important! Hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. PEUGEOT PARTNER Platform/Chassis - Step 5
Remove the wheel. - Step 6
Clean all joints of the arm. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.Replacement: front lower arm – PEUGEOT PARTNER Platform/Chassis. AUTODOC recommends:After applying the spray, wait a few minutes.Wear protective goggles. - Step 7
Unscrew the ball joint fastening to the steering knuckle. Use a drive socket #17. Use a combination spanner #17. - Step 8
Remove the fastening bolt. - Step 9
Disconnect the lower arm from the steering knuckle. Use a crowbar. - Step 10
Clean all joints of the arm. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 11
Unscrew the front arm fastener. Use a drive socket #18. Use a tap wrench. - Step 12
Clean all joints of the arm. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 13
Unscrew the rear fastener connecting the control arm to the subframe. Use a drive socket #13. Use a drive socket #16. Use a tap wrench. - Step 14
Remove the rear fastener of the control arm. - Step 15
Remove the front fastener of the control arm. - Step 16
Remove the arm. Use a crowbar. - Step 17
Clean the mounting seats and the thread of the suspension arm. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 18
Install a new arm. Use a crowbar.Replacement: front lower arm – PEUGEOT PARTNER Platform/Chassis. Tip from AUTODOC:During the installation process, use only new bolts and nuts.Do not damage the ball joint cover. - Step 19
Install the rear fastener of the arm. - Step 20
Install the front fastener of the arm. - Step 21
Screw the rear arm fastener. Use a combination spanner #13. Use a drive socket #16. Use a ratchet wrench.
