Remove the wheel.

Clean the fastener of the driveshaft. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.

Unstake the fastener of the driveshaft. Use a flat metal-working chisel. Use a hammer.

Loosen the fastener of the driveshaft. Use a drive socket #30. Use a tap wrench.

Remove the fastening nut. Use a drive socket #30.

Clean the fasteners connecting the shock strut to the steering knuckle. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.

Unscrew the brake hose fastening bracket from the shock strut. Use a drive socket #14. Use a ratchet wrench.

Disconnect the ABS sensor wiring.

Unscrew the lower fastener connecting the shock strut to the steering knuckle. Use a combination spanner #17. Use a drive socket #17. Use a ratchet wrench.

Remove the fastening bolt.

Clean the fasteners connecting the shock strut to the steering knuckle. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.

Clean the stabiliser link fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.

Unscrew the fastener connecting the stabilizer bar with the control arm. Use a combination spanner #10. Use a drive socket #12. Use a ratchet wrench.

Remove the stabilizer rod.
Step 33
Remove the cotter pin. Use a crowbar.

Clean the fastener connecting the ball joint to the steering knuckle. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 35
Unscrew the ball joint fastening to the steering knuckle. Use a combination spanner #19.

Disconnect the lower arm from the steering knuckle. Use a ball joint puller.
Step 37
Remove the drive shaft. Use a pin punch. Use a hammer.
Replacement: coil springs – Peugeot 107 PM PN. Tip from AUTODOC experts:
Make sure that the drive shaft is not unloaded (when the car is jacked).

Prop up the steering knuckle. Use a hydraulic transmission jack.
Step 39
Release the lower fastener connecting the shock strut to the steering knuckle. Use a flat metal-working chisel. Use a hammer.
Step 40
Disconnect the steering knuckle from the shock absorber strut.
Step 41
Unscrew the top fastening of the shock strut mount.

Peugeot 107 PM PN – To avoid injury, hold the suspension strut while unscrewing the fastening bolts.

Remove the suspension strut.
Step 43
Set the shock absorber strut on the spring compressor tool.
Note that when using a spring compressor, spring coils need to be securely gripped, compressing the spring on the opposite sides.Ensure the correct position of the spring in the retainer.Make sure that the spring coils tightly entered the lock handles.

Compress the spring.
Step 45
Treat the shock strut rod. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 46
Remove the strut piston rod nut. Use HEX No.H6. Use a drive socket #17. Use a ratchet wrench.

Remove the shock absorber mount, boot and bump stop.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: coil springs – Peugeot 107 PM PN. Carefully inspect the mount, the boot, and the bump stop of the shock absorber. Replace if necessary.

Release the coil spring.
Step 49
Remove the spring.
Step 50
Install the spring on the shock absorber.

Compress the spring.
Step 52
Install the mount, the boot and the bump stop on the shock absorber.
Step 53
Tighten the shock strut piston rod nut. Use HEX No.H6. Use a drive socket #17. Use a chain wrench. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 55 Nm torque.
Check to make sure the spring is positioned correctly. Avoid its misalignment.

Decompress the spring.
Step 55
Remove the assembled shock strut.
Step 56
Install the shock strut into the wheel arch.
Step 57
Clean the mounting seats of the shock strut. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.

Screw the top fastening of the shock strut mount. Do not tighten it.

Fix the shock absorber strut on the steering knuckle.

Install the fastening bolt.
Step 61
Screw in the fastener that connects the shock strut to the steering knuckle. Use a combination spanner #17. Use a drive socket #17. Use a ratchet wrench.

Clean the splines of the drive shaft CV joint. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.

Mount the drive shaft into the
wheel hub.
Step 64
Remove the support from under the steering knuckle.

Replacement: coil springs – Peugeot 107 PM PN. Lower the transmission jack smoothly, without jerks, to avoid damaging components and mechanisms.

Clean the fastener connecting the ball joint to the steering knuckle. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.

Connect the lower arm to the steering knuckle.
Step 67
Ιnstall the transverse stabilizer link.
Step 68
Tighten the brake hose fastening bracket to the shock strut. Use a drive socket #14. Use a ratchet wrench.

Connect the ABS sensor wiring.

Tighten the lower fasteners connecting the shock strut to the steering knuckle. Use a combination spanner #17. Use a drive socket #17. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 52 Nm torque.

Install the fastening nut.

Tighten the drive shaft nut. Use a drive socket #30. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 216 Nm torque.

Restake the fastener of the driveshaft. Use a flat metal-working chisel. Use a hammer.

Tighten the ball joint fastener. Use a combination spanner #19. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 98 nm torque.
Step 75
Install the cotter pin. Use a crowbar.
Step 76
Tighten the fastener connecting the stabilizer bar with the control arm. Use a drive socket #12. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 18 Nm torque.
Step 77
Treat the shock strut fasteners. Use copper grease.
Step 78
Treat the surface where the brake disc contacts the wheel rim. Use copper grease.
Step 79
Clean the brake disk surface. Use a brake cleaner.
