How to change front anti roll bar link / front drop link on RENAULT CLIO 2 (C65) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

AUTODOC recommends:
- Replace the stabiliser links on Renault Clio 2 in pairs.
- The replacement procedure is identical for both stabiliser links on the same axle.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: anti roll bar links – Renault Clio 2. Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.Step 2
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19. - Step 3
Raise the front of the car and secure on supports. - Step 4
Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Important! Hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Renault Clio 2 - Step 5
Remove the wheel. - Step 6
Clean the stabiliser link fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 7
Unscrew the stabilizer rod fasteners. Use a drive socket #13. Use Torx T40. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 8
Remove the stabilizer rod. Use a pin punch. Use a hammer. Use a crowbar.Replacement: anti roll bar links – Renault Clio 2. AUTODOC experts recommend:Examine stabiliser bushes. Replace them if needed. - Step 9Clean the stabiliser link fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.Step 10
Install a new rod, tighten the fasteners.

- @user_260728007.06.2024 10:55MemberSurely the torque on the retaining nut is too high? It'll crush the whole thing. Maybe better to tighten till nylon head on nut is about 1cm onto bolt. Makes it firm but flexible?
