I had a musky/soil like smell in the car when I had the air con on for a few minutes. Changed the cabin filter behind the glove box and no longer have that smell. It's an easy part to fit in a 2012 Hyundai Veloster. Just make sure you connect the clip closest to the centre console first the right clip as it is partially obscured. Then clip the left side in. Now enjoy your cool, crisp, smell free environment. 👌

I chose it because its an OEM spec and has correct non return/drain valve essential for M20 engines. however if you can get it somewhere else do, as Autodoc charge far more for the delivery than the part costs and you will be lucky if it arrives in a week if delivery is 70kr a week is acceptable but not for 220kr

It is apparently the best combination of HEPA-ish and Activated Carbon and Polyphenol, so should be good for both particulates and gases. Still deciding between this and the Purflux AHH740 which is true HEPA so better for particulates but not as good for gases so have bought both.

this filter is by far the best one I tried out many brands somehow this filter or in general MAAN-FILTER doesn't get bad so fast the shape is very good out together stays out better than those I changed when I changing oil so the oil flow has been better I think

I've put this filter in 2 pumps and in both cases the OD was too big and jammed inside the pump. I had to hammer the edge smaller so that it wouldn't jam and would drop down to the bottom where it should.

I have used the Mann Frecious pollen filters before and they really do help to keep unwanted smells and airborne particles out of the cabin compared to standard and carbon activated pollen filters.

How to distinguish original MANN-FILTER products from counterfeits

The brand’s filters all have distinctive yellow-green packaging, which most car DIY experts will recognise. However, this doesn’t mean that there aren’t some convincing copies out there. It isn’t enough to rely on the appearance of the packaging alone. Most genuine OEM products have a unique serial number written on the packaging or product for identification purposes. You should also check that the markings are clearly visible and that seals aren’t easy to remove. Make sure that the housing is of high quality.
