ATE: reviews and customer ratings

As a person who likes to wash car often. The ATE ceramic brakepads dont henerate a lot of brake dust. The dust is minimal and it doesnt appear to stick to the painted alloys the same way. I would recommend these brakes if you dont like washing wheels often. A soft wheel brish for barrels and the spoke/faces is enough with mild alkaline shampoo. Other brake brands like brembo and the ATE normal brake pads generate much more dust. These are very well comparable to TRW Dtec Cotec that is also a ceramic pad. And a good one also. I wont be talking much about wear and brake performance. It’s good on both and doesnt seem to wear away straight away. Eould recommend ceramic pads for everyone. Not just ATE but ceramic in genuin 10/10

These brake pads are exceptional! Not only do they last twice as long as the original ones, but they also treat your brake discs with care. With these pads, I've noticed a significant reduction in the frequency of expensive brake disc replacements. A worthwhile investment for both longevity and cost-effectiveness.

its the third set of ATE Ceramics ive had and for me they are durable and smooth, you do need to warm them up but that doesent take long but the most important feature for me is the low dust which simply lays on the wheels and washes off with ease, i always buy Ceramic now.

I love this new colour of blue ATE front calipers AUTODOC have taken out
I will be changing my old calipers after Christmas but don’t see any problems as ATE calipers are one of the best and a very good price ftom AUTODOC
Also know I’m receiving quality parts at AUTODOC

This is second set of these I have purchased and I feel I can give a really good review of how long they last compared to non ceramic
They lasted me a lot longer than normal as I actually have noted down how long my non ceramic ones lasted and difference was 1yr

Believe ATE are the original manufacturers of OEM VW brakes. Bought VW brakes for a scirocco once and those had ATE stamped on. Had these discs on my VW Up now for a year and no problems. Coated too so they'll only rust where the pads make contact on them.

The original part we ordered was incorrect. I recommend you call customer services to verify the parts you wish to orser are in fact right. Customer services were so helpful and even sent email confirmation of incorrect and correct parts. Highly recommend

superb company. Excellent engineering. mManufacturing OM parts for Merc for years and recently providing brake parts for c and e class. Also very competitively priced against " genuine" mb parts. Wouldn't be surprised if they supplied mb with OE!

The best aftermarket pads I've found for a nice progressive feel. Good initial bite and hold performance at higher temperatures. The only downside is the brake dust but this is still less than I've experienced with Brembo and Bosch.

Very good pads ! Used in my BMW 4 Series 430D very quiet pads less dust and I feel very responsive braking, my non ceramic pads used to squeak a lot not anymore thanks to these !! Top class for the price thanks Auto Doc !

Excellent piece of kit that’s perfect for job I’ve used the bigger unit and was very impressed the bigger unit was out of my budget but this has more than done the job and a steal at right discount time

Excellent quality as always from ATE, best brand for brake components. Completely identical to original, all sizes are same and fit without any issue. Perfect fit for Jaguar X-type rear brake hoses.
