ELRING: reviews and customer ratings

This is second time I've raised an order for this part. Didn't receive the first thanks to useless courier you use ( EVRI) who consistently fail to deliver items , either from you or other suppliers I've tried to purchase from. Every other courier/delivery service seems to be able to deliver to me but not EVRI so perhaps offering an alternative courier service might be a sound business move as your parts catalogue is superb and prices are very fair but no effing use if your courier is letting you down.

I am shopping to perform the third cylinder head decoke on my Renault Scenic 1.9dci 2003 (in 138,000 miles now), and have ordered these extra gaskets (to the cylinder head gasket set ordered) because the ERG will need removal and cleaning also.set ordered) because the ERG will need removal and cleaning also.

Disappointed with this product. Used this gasket to replace a 30 year old OEM gaskets (which was weeping) and it leaked significantly enough to cause oil to be thrown all over the engine bay. replaced with a second one, but also used a gasket sealant as well. Fingers crossed, it now appears to be leak-free.

Very disappointed! After reading other reviews with positive feedback I believe this was a good one to go for. When trying to fit, one bolt started to strip to thread in the head. On closer inspection the bolt was an m8 not a m6 like the 29 others. Such a silly mistake from this manufacturer!

This is the second time I receive a part that doesn’t fit, even though I entered my car's details correctly. I kindly ask that Autodoc stop displaying incompatible parts. It causes frustration, extra costs, and delays. Please improve your filtering system and show only 100% compatible parts.

i had a transmission oil leak where the driveshaft rotates into the gear box. To find the right part i search for volkswagon polo 1.2 9n driveshaft schematics. Then i was able to find the OEM part number. Googled the number and it brought me here :)

A cheap item at a high price fitted and seemed ok then started leaking slightly so had to pay the garage to get another and do the job again, so to sum up turned out to be a costly job, never again will I try and save money buying a cheap part.

fit was precise and did not need any modification. same thickness and quality as original. I did take the sump off so that I could trim the bottom of the gasket flush with the block but this is normal practice. no more leaking oil

Oil Cooler started to leak on my 2007 E320, a common problem and 2 small cheap seals to fix. other than you need to remove the inlet manifolds to get to it! this kit contained everything I needed. and all great quality.

Chose this as Elring supply VW parts so you know they are a quality parts supplier, cheaper than buying from Mini/BMW direct but more than cost of Ridex part which lasted 30000miles. Hope this one lasts more than that.

Seal looked fine but after fitting it oil from the base of the seal into cylinder 4.
replacedn with the BMW seal and no more leaks. BMW seal was x2 price but it’s a cheap seal so Inwasted labour costs to save £15!

I trust that the items are the correct ones for my vehicle. There may be more items within the pack which I might not use but I'm satisfied that the main items are going to be necessary in order to complete my job.
