Replacement: serpentine belt – RENAULT WIND (E4M_). AUTODOC recommends:
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: serpentine belt – RENAULT WIND (E4M_). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Open the hood.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Secure the wheels with chocks.
- Step 4Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17.
- Step 5Raise the front of the car and secure on supports.Step 6Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Important! Hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. RENAULT WIND (E4M_)
- Step 7Remove the wheel.
- Step 8Remove the wheel arch cover. Use a clip removal tool.
- Step 9Unscrew the fuel filter bracket fixing bolts. Use a drive socket #13. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 10Remove the fuel filter fastening bracket.
- Step 11Unscrew the fuel filter bracket fixing bolts. Use a combination spanner #10.
- Step 12Remove the fuel filter fastening bracket.
- Step 13Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. Use a combination spanner #16.
- Step 14Remove the V-ribbed belt.
- Step 15Return the tensioner pulley to its initial position.Replacement: serpentine belt – RENAULT WIND (E4M_). Tip:Check the condition of the tensioner pulley and idler pulley. Replace them if necessary.Step 16Install the V-ribbed belt.AUTODOC recommends:Make sure that the V-ribbed belt fits all pulleys snugly.
- Step 17Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. Use a combination spanner #16.
- Step 18Place the V-ribbed belt on the tensioner pulley.
- Step 19Return the tensioner pulley to its initial position.
