- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: serpentine belt – PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Open the hood.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Secure the wheels with chocks.Step 4
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19. - Step 5Raise the car.Replacement: serpentine belt – PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F). AUTODOC recommends:If you are using a jack, make sure it rests on a flat surface without any unevenness.Be sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands.Step 6
Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F) - Step 7
Remove the wheel. - Step 8
Unscrew and remove the wheel arch cover fasteners. Use a clip removal tool. Use a Phillips screwdriver. - Step 9
Remove the wheel arch cover. - Step 10
Release the coolant pipe fasteners. - Step 11
Clean the tensioner pulley fastener. Use a wire brush. - Step 12
Loosen the tensioner pulley fastener. Use HEX No.H8. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 13
Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. Use a 1/4" square drive extension bar. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 14
Remove the V-ribbed belt.Replacement: serpentine belt – PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F). Tip from AUTODOC experts:Check the condition of the tensioner pulley and idler pulley. Replace them if necessary. - Step 15
Install the V-ribbed belt.Replacement: serpentine belt – PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F). Professionals recommend:Make sure that the V-ribbed belt fits all pulleys snugly. - Step 16
Tension the belt by turning the tensioner pulley clockwise. Use a 1/4" square drive extension bar. Use a ratchet wrench.Replacement: serpentine belt – PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F). Tip:Keep the belt taut until you've tightened the tensioner pulley fastener. - Step 17
Tighten the fastener of the serpentine belt tensioner pulley. Use HEX No.H8. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 35 Nm torque.
