Replacement: serpentine belt – PEUGEOT EXPERT Platform/Chassis (223). AUTODOC experts recommend:
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: serpentine belt – PEUGEOT EXPERT Platform/Chassis (223). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Open the hood.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Secure the wheels with chocks.Step 4Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit.Step 5Clean the serpentine belt tensioner bracket. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.Step 6Loosen the tensioner lever of the V-ribbed belt. Use a drive socket #13. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 7Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 8Remove the V-ribbed belt.Replacement: serpentine belt – PEUGEOT EXPERT Platform/Chassis (223). AUTODOC recommends:Check the condition of the tensioner pulley and idler pulley. Replace them if necessary.
- Step 9Install the V-ribbed belt.Replacement: serpentine belt – PEUGEOT EXPERT Platform/Chassis (223). Tip:Make sure that the V-ribbed belt fits all pulleys snugly.
- Step 10Return the tensioner pulley to its initial position. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.
