Replacement: serpentine belt – HONDA CR-Z (ZF1). AUTODOC experts recommend:
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: serpentine belt – HONDA CR-Z (ZF1). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit.Step 4
Undo the fasteners of the oil pan lower cover. Use a Phillips screwdriver. Use a clip removal tool. - Step 5
Unscrew and remove the wheel arch cover fasteners. Use a clip removal tool. - Step 6
Remove the wheel arch cover. - Step 7
Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. Use a combination spanner #14. - Step 8
Remove the V-ribbed belt.Replacement: serpentine belt – HONDA CR-Z (ZF1). AUTODOC recommends:Check the condition of the tensioner pulley and idler pulley. Replace them if necessary. - Step 9
Return the tensioner pulley to its initial position. - Step 10
Install the V-ribbed belt.Replacement: serpentine belt – HONDA CR-Z (ZF1). Professionals recommend:Make sure that the V-ribbed belt fits all pulleys snugly. - Step 11
Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. Use a combination spanner #14. - Step 12
Place the V-ribbed belt on the tensioner pulley.
