Replacement: serpentine belt – FORD TRANSIT CONNECT Kombi. AUTODOC recommends:
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: serpentine belt – FORD TRANSIT CONNECT Kombi. Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit.Step 4Undo the fasteners of the oil pan lower cover. Use Torx T30. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 5Remove the oil pan cover.
- Step 6Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. Use a combination spanner #15.
- Step 7Remove the V-ribbed belt.
- Step 8Return the tensioner pulley to its initial position.Replacement: serpentine belt – FORD TRANSIT CONNECT Kombi. Professionals recommend:Check the condition of the tensioner pulley and idler pulley. Replace them if necessary.Step 9Install the V-ribbed belt.Replacement: serpentine belt – FORD TRANSIT CONNECT Kombi. AUTODOC experts recommend:Make sure that the V-ribbed belt fits all pulleys snugly.
- Step 10Pull aside the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley. Use a combination spanner #15.Step 11Place the V-ribbed belt on the tensioner pulley.
