How to change rear Anti Roll Bar Link on AUDI A4 B6 TUTORIAL | AUTODOC

AUTODOC recommends:
- Replace stabilizer links on Audi A4 B6 in pairs.
- The replacement procedure is identical for both stabiliser links on the same axle.
- Please note: all work on the car – Audi A4 B6 – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.
- Step 2Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17.
- Step 3Raise the rear of the car and secure on supports.Step 4Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Audi A4 B6
- Step 5Remove the wheel.
- Step 6Clean the stabiliser link fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
- Step 7Unscrew the fastener connecting the stabilizer link to the stabilizer bar. Use a combination spanner #16. Use a combination spanner #18.
- Step 8Unscrew the fastener connecting the stabilizer bar with the control arm. Use a drive socket #13. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 9Remove the stabilizer rod.Replacement: anti roll bar links – Audi A4 B6. Tip:Examine stabiliser bushes. Replace them if needed.
- Step 10Clean the mounting seats of the stabiliser link. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
- Step 11Install a new rod, tighten the fasteners.
- Step 12Tighten the fastener connecting the stabilizer bar with the control arm. Use a drive socket #13. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 25 Nm torque.
