How to change pollen filter on VW LUPO 6x1 [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: pollen filter – VW Lupo 6X1. Tools you might need:
- Replace the cabin filter at least once every six months, in early spring and autumn seasons.
- Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
- If the air flow into the cabin has sharply reduced, replace the filter before a scheduled maintenance.
- Please note: all work on the car – VW Lupo 6X1 – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1
Open the hood. - Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car. - Step 3
Remove the rubber strip. - Step 4
Unscrew the plastic panel fasteners. Use a Phillips screwdriver. - Step 5
Remove the plastic panel. - Step 6
Press the pollen filter retaining clips to release them. - Step 7
Remove the cabin filter.Replacement: pollen filter – VW Lupo 6X1. Tip from AUTODOC:Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter - it will affect the quality of air cleaning inside the car. - Step 8
Switch on the air recirculation mode. - Step 9
Clean the mounting seat of the cabin filter. - Step 10
Install a new filter element into the frame. - Step 11
Install the cabin filter to its mounting seat.Replacement: pollen filter – VW Lupo 6X1. AUTODOC recommends:Check out the correct location of the filter element. Do not skew.Follow the air flow direction arrow on the filter.Attention! Use quality filters – VW Lupo 6X1.
